    In the April 20 event (TODAY) of the Irish Women's Writing Festival, Claire BRACKEN will speak on contemporary Irish Women’s Writing. Bracken, Associate Professor in the English Department at Union College, NY, is author of Irish Feminist Futures (Routledge, 2016), co-editor of Anne Enright (Irish Academic P, 2011) and Viewpoints: Theoretical Perspectives on Irish Visual Texts (Cork UP, 2013). In 2017, she co-edited a double Special Issue of LIT on the topic of Post-Celtic Tiger Ireland and Contemporary Women's Writing, which is being reissued as a book of that title by Routledge in 2021She is currently co-editing a special issue on Reproductive Justice and Women's Health for Éire Ireland

    UConn’s Prof. Rachael Lynch, Mollie Kervick, and Sarah Bertekap, all of whom work on Irish women’s writing, will respond to Bracken before the Q&A.
