Hi everyone! I wanted to share an awesome leadership opportunity through UConn Global Brigades. The mission of GB is to empower communities through a holistic approach to the student movement and full-time local clinics in an effort to promote self-sustainability and inequality reduction. July 6-13, UConn students and faculty have the opportunity to attend a Medical Brigade in Ghana, where we will host medical clinics for community members and provide healthcare education/resources—as well as shadow and work alongside doctors. This medical mission trip is extremely rewarding because you will be giving back to less fortunate communities and learn about the culture of Ghana while doing it!
