To relax from midterms, UConn's Korean Student Association is hosting a movie night on Monday, March 15th, from 6:30-8:30pm. We will be watching Minari (2020), a film about a Korean-American family who moves to an Arkansas farm in search of their own American dream. They face many challenges with the move, but through it all, discover the resilience of family and what really makes a home.
Minari was first premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January of 2020, where it won both the U.S. Dramatic Grand Jury Prize and the U.S. Dramatic Audience Award. It went on to win numerous more awards and was even named one of the ten best films of 2020 by the American Film Institute and the National Board of Review.
We will be meeting via Discord, and you can join our server here: https://discord.gg/Sgj44eHc
We hope to see you there!
