UConn is one of 12 institutions nationwide selected to receive the Arnold and Mabel Beckman Foundation’s 2016 Beckman Scholars Program Award to support outstanding undergraduate researchers in biology and chemistry. Our goal is to identify and nurture our most motivated and talented UConn undergraduate students, majoring in biology or a related field.
PNB is currently accepting applications for the Beckman Scholar Program through March 1, 2021. Beckman Scholars will pursue their independent research project under the auspices of an approved full-time faculty Mentor. Each Beckman Scholar will receive support to carry out research during one academic year (2021-2022) and two summers (ten weeks each in the summers of 2021 and 2022).
