Research, Funding, and Awards

  • 2/13 Workshop: Use Pivot to Locate Grant Funding

Pivot is the most comprehensive search engine for grants in all disciplines - with 26,000 funding opportunities worth an estimated $33 billion. Pivot makes it easy to search for grants in your research area, and to establish funding alerts which automatically let you know when new opportunities become available. Pivot:

    • includes research, travel, and postdoctoral funding opportunities, available through thousands of federal, state, corporate, non-profit, and foundation sponsors
    • has funding opportunities for both faculty and graduate students
    • contains Scholar Profiles for every UConn faculty member - to match researchers with appropriate grants, and to help identify potential research collaborators across schools and campuses

A hands-on workshops will be held  Thursday 2/13 from noon-1:00 pm  in Homer Babbidge Library, and at other dates throughout the semester. To register go to: http://lib.uconn.edu/instruction/workshop/#29
