Calling all UConn Students!
UConn’s first TEDx salon conference will be held March 27, 2021, and we would like to invite you to apply to speak. Every year our conferences are structured around a theme, and our first theme this year is Looking Forward.
The driving idea behind this theme is to provoke listeners to consider adjustments in individuals’ daily lives in a digital world, post-pandemic. Use the results of the COVID-19 pandemic to better understand a more progressive, productive way to move forward. What morals, lessons, or thinking strategies can we gain from all we’ve been through?
The TEDxUConn organization is currently accepting applications from those who are interested in speaking in our virtual Spring 2021 salon conference. Please fill out the application below and remember that the power of TED talks are rooted in their accessibility and relatability, so consider how your idea appeals to a global audience!

In addition to the application link above, please submit a 2 minute video giving a broad outline on the topic of your talk. The application and video submission deadline is February 17th @ 11:59pm. We will invite you to audition via Google Meet or Zoom on a rolling basis.
