Student Activities

  • Volunteer at Manchester High School

It's that time of year again... HISTORY DAY IN MANCHESTER will be held on March 15 and we hope you will consider volunteering as a judge.

History Day in Manchester is part National History Day, a nationwide program where students of all grade levels learn research skills and execute history projects of their choosing. While there is an annual overarching theme, students select topics and formats that reflect their interests and skills. Winners will have the opportunity to compete at the state and national levels.

Judges will review these projects and provide feedback. Every year, these dedicated volunteers are an essential part of providing students with this great opportunity.

This event will take place from 7:30am-1:00pm at Manchester High School in Manchester, CT and includes a catered lunch.

This is an excellent opportunity for current or future teachers, but no previous experience is necessary! Please email us at manchesternhd@gmail.com if you are interested or have questions, and please pass this along to anyone you think may be interested as well. We look forward to hearing from you!

    Best,

    Quinn Austermann & Joe Williamson
