February 6th 2021:
The Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Graduate Student Association hosts an annual Graduate Student Symposium, representing a day of talks by current and former UConn EEB graduate students and talks by UConn leaders. This year, Dr. Kate Capshaw, CLAS Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, will give the Welcome address. We will also host a panel of former UConn EEB grads, including Dr. Holly Brown, Dr. Jessie Rack, Dr. Laura Cisneros, and Dr. Sacha Spector. The rest of the day will be comprised of current student talks, a lunchtime "activity", and the annual field and lab work photo contest.
Attendees who RSVP by Friday January 22nd will be mailed a care package of items to be received by the event date. After RSVPing, you will receive a link to the event 1-2 days prior. The event will be hosted on Zoom. The event will start around 10:00am EST and end around 5:00pm EST.
