School, Program, and Course Information

  • 8/9 Final Marching Band Information Session

The UConn Marching Band is still welcoming musicians to every section of the 2020 UCMB, regardless of marching experience. UConn students living off campus or attending branch campuses are strongly encouraged to join this year because they can participate remotely. Students who join the band this year can expect to be well prepared for future seasons when the UCMB is able to resume a full performing schedule.

Remember: Even though the UCMB is an online course, it will probably still be YOUR BEST EXPERIENCE AT UCONN THIS FALL!

There is one more Virtual Info Session scheduled for this summer and it may be the best one yet! The UCMB is largely sustained not only by student leadership on the field, but by numerous teams and committees behind the scenes. This year those teams will be more important than ever! There are so many ways for band members to work together, serve the band and the community, and even develop new skills.

Join us on Sunday, August 9 at 7pm EST to learn all about UCMB Teams & Committees. You’ll meet the leaders of the band’s outstanding Media and Website teams, the History and Recruiting committees, and more!

Please use this form to pre-register (https://forms.gle/2VtoMyKkue41auxr8) or visit http://uconnband.org/summer-events/ on the 9th for the Zoom link.

To join the UCMB, complete our 2020 Membership Application and enroll in MUSI 1108-001 before September 13.

Please email our staff or student leaders (see below) or leave a message at 860-486-2383 with any questions about the marching band.
