Preparing for Distance Education (short online course for faculty)

This one week online short-course is designed for faculty who are preparing to teach in Distance Learning mode in Summer and/or Fall 2020. It will introduce participants to best practices in online teaching and learning and the resources available to them. It provides an opportunity to experience the HuskyCT learning environment from the student perspective by using the quiz, journal, discussion, assignment and synchronous meeting (Collaborate) tools. Faculty will leave the course with an action plan to help them prepare for pivoting to distance education.
The course will be facilitated May 8 - May 14 in HuskyCT. You will receive an email notification when you have access to the course site.
