We are interested in understanding how to improve pre-health education at the University of Connecticut in order to better prepare our future health care workers. You will be asked to answer questions about your undergraduate pre-medical education. You will also be asked questions about your experiences with, perceptions of, and desires to learn about complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). This research may result in information that leads to an initiative to provide more undergraduate pre-health resources for CAM education at UConn. This research may also provide a societal benefit of increased information on issues surrounding university pre-health education programs.
You must be at least 18 years of age and an undergraduate student enrolled at the University of Connecticut to enroll in this study. This survey can be accessed anywhere from your computer or mobile device and should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete.
After completion of the survey you will be entered into a drawing for a $20 prepared visa gift card for your participation. You may also enter into a drawing for a second $20 prepaid visa gift card if you choose to sign-up for a voluntary interview after you complete the survey.
This survey has been reviewed and approved by the University of Connecticut Institutional Review Board (Protocol #: X20-0013) and research is conducted under the direction of Dr. Pamela Erickson, Anthropology.
