  • Treasurers - Student Org Banking During COVID-19

    Hello UConn Student Org Treasurers,

    Due to the University’s efforts to battle the coronavirus COVID – 19, the Student Activities Business Services (SABS) doors will not be open for the rest of the semester, however, staff will continue to work from remote locations.  We understand the importance of continuing to provide banking services to student organizations and their ability to collect, deposit, and disburse funds.  We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding during this unprecedented time as we work out these processes with staff working outside the office.

    The process of depositing cash and checks and disbursing funds are still a work in progress, however, the ability for organizations to collect funds online, through Marketplace, has been and continues to be an option for all organizations that are active and have an open account in SABS.

    We understand in the past fees associated with Marketplace may have caused some organizations to explore other online collection options.  Because of this, effective immediately, fees for use of these online services will be waived. 

    For those of you that would like more information about Marketplace for student organization use please reach out to SABS by e-mail at mailto:dsabusinessservices@uconn.edu.

    Organizations that would like to use Marketplace must complete an online request hereYou will need to be signed in to UConntact to view the form. This request must be completed by the Treasurer.

    The following services will continue to be provided:

    • Marketplace online sales
    • Online banking activity posted on a daily basis
    • Online request for Income and Expense Reports

    All other services are pending until further notice.
