International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) is implementing a new International Graduate Student Peer Mentor program for incoming international graduate students at the Storrs campus beginning this Fall 2020 semester.
This program is designed to assist new international graduate students adjust to life in the United States and at UConn. Peer mentors are volunteers and may be international or American graduate students. This program is for Storrs graduate students only. This will be a valuable program for both mentees and mentors. Mentors will have the opportunity to gain leadership skills, meet and connect with new international students, and help to create a welcoming environment for new students.
To apply to be an International Graduate Peer Mentor, please complete the online application form by Wednesday, April 1. More information about the program requirements can also be found on the application form.
