Sunday, March 8, 2020: 2:00pm – 3:00pm
UConn Biology/Physics Building - Room 130
91 North Eagleville Rd, Storrs, CT 06269
Presented by the Connecticut State Museum of Natural History and Joshua’s Trust, the third event in this year’s Climate Change Action Series will feature Beth Bernard from the CT Forest and Park Association and Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.
Beth will share information and discuss Project Learning Tree (PLT), an innovative environmental education program which works to help educators, community leaders, and parents about how to talk with children about climate change—focusing on action-oriented topics related to resiliency. Join us to participate in the discussion about CT’s Environmental Literacy Plan and activities related to calculating carbon footprints, estimating the extent and effects of sea level rise, and more!
