  • Electronic Transcripts Are Here

The Registrar’s office is pleased to announce that the university is now offering electronic transcripts for all current and former students.  These transcripts are transmitted quickly via secure PDF to any email address that the student selects.  Electronic official transcripts are now widely accepted around the world, and can be used in professional and graduate school applications, for licensing boards, and to verify graduation or enrollment for many purposes where official transcripts are required.  This service is a quicker, easier, and more user-friendly official transcript process for our students and alumni.

Additionally, students still have the option to request paper official transcripts.  This service is available online and official transcripts are typically mailed within 24 hours of initial request.  Students have the option to select from different delivery methods ranging from USPS to overnight express.  Tracking information is available for both electronic and paper delivery methods. There is a $5 fee for an electronic transcript, and a $7 fee plus postage for a paper transcript.

The University will continue to offer paper official transcripts directly to students who come to any UConn Registrar’s office at no charge.
