  • Certificate Series Spring 2020 Registration Open

    Encourage your students to get involved and unleash their leadership potential with the Leadership Certificate Series, a program run by the Department of Student Activities-Leadership and Organizational Development! The Leadership Certificate Series encourages students to work alongside their peers and workshop facilitators from our office to unpack and explore different areas of leadership. Workshops run for nine weeks from February 3rd – April 8th. The workshop registration form can be found here.

    Three different workshops to choose from:

    Discovery Leadership Program offers a fun and innovative experience to help you develop leadership competencies and begin your leadership journey. (Offered either Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 PM based on participant interest)  

    Emotional Intelligent Leadership is designed to develop students’ emotional intelligence and leadership abilities with an intentional focus on self, others, and environment. Students will improve their capacity to influence their environment, develop relationships, and navigate interactions with others. (Offered either Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 PM based on participant interest)  

    The Student Leadership Challenge will give student leaders the opportunity to further develop their skills and take their organization, community, or program to the next level. Students will be introduced to The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership and develop their skills by learning to Model the Way, Inspire a Shared Vision, Challenge the Process, Enable Others to Act, and Encourage the Heart. (Offered either Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 PM based on participant interest)
