Alex Cunningham is a filmmaker, performer, educator, and curator. His work spans various modes of production and thinking, and focus on subjects ranging from the personal to the cosmic. His works have shown at festivals around the world including MONO NO AWARE, Iowa City International Documentary Festival, Victoria Film Festival, Raindance Film Festival, Experiments in Cinema, and Milwaukee Underground Film Festival. He earned his MFA in Experimental and Documentary Arts from Duke University where he is also an instructor in the Program of the Arts of the Moving Image, and is currently a Lewis Hine Documentary Fellow based in Brooklyn, New York.
There will be refreshments and room at the end of the talk to ask the artist questions.
