  • Huskies are Kickin' It Downtown

The UConn men's and women's soccer team will be Kickin' It Downtown at Dillon Stadium this season. The brand new multi-purpose facility is home to the Hartford Athletic of the USL Championship league.

The women's soccer team's first game at Dillon is scheduled for Sunday, September 8 when the team welcomes Boston University to Hartford at 1 p.m.  The men's soccer team opens up in the capital city on Tuesday, September. 17 against Manhattan College at 7 p.m.

The women's soccer team's home games that precede the contest against BU (August 25 vs. Fairfield at 6 p.m. and September 1 vs. Colgate at 6 p.m.) will be played at the University of Hartford.  The men's soccer team's home games that are scheduled prior to the contest against Manhattan College (August 24 vs. BU at 7 p.m., August 30 vs. Rider at 7 p.m., September 6 vs. FDU at 7 p.m.) will also be played at the University of Hartford.

Women's soccer ticket prices are $5 for general admission and $1 each for groups of 10 or more.  Men's soccer ticket prices are $6 for general admission and $1 each for groups of 10 or more. As a reminder, beginning this fall students no longer need to purchase a ticket to attend any UConn regular season home games, including men's and women's soccer.  Students will need to simply swipe their Student ID at the main entrances of both UHart and Dillon Stadium for admission on a first-come, first-served basis.

All undergraduate, graduate and transfer students at any UConn campus (Storrs, Hartford, Avery Point, Stamford or Waterbury), as well as School of Law and UConn Health (School of Medicine and School of Dental Medicine) enrolled for the fall 2019 semester can swipe their UConn Student ID for admission.  Visit UConnHuskies.com/students for more information.

UConn soccer is playing the 2019 season at Dillon due to the construction of the state-of-the art Joseph J. Morrone Stadium at the Rizza Family Soccer Complex.  The complex, which will be constructed on the same site as UConn soccer's on-campus home from 1969-2018, is scheduled for completion in time for the start of the 2020 season
