    SAGE OUTDOORS WORKSHOP: OUTDOOR RECREATION 101 - BEGINNER'S GUIDE TO NEW ENGLAND AREA.

    RVSP to join us! Lunch will be provided!

    What: Our guest speaker is Helena Ives - Naturalist / Environmental Education Specialist at the Goodwin State Forest and Conservation Center. During the workshop you will learn about places to visit in the New England Area, e.g. trails, parks, forests, lakes, unique landscapes, nature reserves, wildlife areas, historic and cultural sites. Helena will suggest unique or popular places for outdoor recreation (hiking, camping, kayaking, biking) within 1-3 hour distance from UConn's Storrs campus. You will have an opportunity to learn about planned activities of SAGE Outdoors and join informal network of UConn graduate students for outdoor recreation.

    When:  12-2pm; 
                Thurs, Aug 8, 2019.

    Where: Class of 1947 Meeting Room, Plaza Level
               Hommer Babbidge Library, UCONN (Storrs, CT).
