    UConn’s Minor Protection Policy and Research with Human Subjects

    The Office of the Vice President for Research, Research Compliance Services/Institutional Review Board & the Office of Minor Protection will hold an information session on the University’s Minor Protection Policy as it applies to research with human participants.  Julie Guild, the Minor Protection Coordinator, will address:

    • Minor Protection Policy
      • Research Conducted in Schools
      • Research Conducted in Participants’ Homes
    • Recognizing Abuse
    • Student Researchers
    • Reporting Procedures
    • Resources available from the University and from the Department of Children and Families

    There will be time for a question and answer period.

    The session will be held on April 29, 2019 from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. in Bousfield Psychology Building, Room A106.  Participation is limited to 90.  We are investigating ways to stream or tape the session for those unable to attend in person.  Please click below to register for the session.
