International Student and Scholar Services at UConn is coordinating a volunteer team to help welcome new international students to Storrs campus during move-in weekend. We would like to invite staff, faculty and student volunteers to part of this initiative.
We hope this volunteer team will be available to answer student questions or otherwise support newly arrived students, and compliment the work of the UConn staff who are busy checking-in students.
If you would like to be involved with planning or serving on the New International Student Welcome Team, please join us at ISSS on April 22 at 9:30 am for our first planning meeting. ISSS is located in McMahon Hall, Room 183. If you are unable to attend this meeting, but would like to be included in future meetings, please email Rae Alexander, rae.alexander@uconn.edu.
