  • Conference for College Women Student Leaders

    The Women's Center is accepting applications to sponsor students to attend the National Conference for College Women Student Leaders (NCCWSL) from May 29–June 1, 2019 at the University of Maryland, College Park.  This year's keynote is Roxane Gay, author of Bad Feminist and the first black woman to write for Marvel, creating a comic series in the Black Panther universe called World of Wakanda.  Both undergraduate and graduate students are eligble.  Preference will be given to students who will be enrolled at UConn for the 2019-20 academic year.  The Women's Center will cover the registration fee and travel.  Lodging and most meals are covered as part of the registration fee.  Applications are available at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NCCWSL2019   The deadline for application is Friday, April 12th at 5 p.m.
