UConn's Office of the Vice President for Research, in partnership with Innovate Stamford, is administering the UConn-Innovate Stamford Internship Program. The program supports 50 paid summer internships at companies in the Stamford Innovation District. All interns receive a $5,000 stipend, as well as free accommodations in UConn Stamford apartment-style housing.
Participating companies range from major corporations to high-potential smaller businesses and startups. As part of the program, interns will also be mentored in entrepreneurship and innovation by academic and business leaders. UConn students from all campuses who are on track to complete their undergraduate studies by the end of 2020 are eligible to apply.
Positions are available in many different areas, such as Marketing/Sales, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, and Digital Media.
