  • Habitat for Humanity - Hire-A-Habitator

    UConn Habitat for Humanity's Hire-A-Habitator program is back and ready to go for the Spring semester!

    My name is Thinh and I’m the Hire-A-Habitator coordinator for UConn's chapter of Habitat for Humanity. We founded the Hire-A-Habitator program to help provide basic yard work such as leaf raking, weeding, gardening, wood splitting, and other jobs to those in need. If you’re interested in scheduling a day for us to come out and volunteer, please contact me through my email address or mobile number below. In your message please include your contact information, the date and time you would like to schedule, what type of work you would like us to help out with, and your address. Some typical work days and hours include, Saturday or Sunday, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. To show your appreciation for the work of the Habitat members, we ask that you make a donation to our chapter. The suggested donation amount is $9 per person an hour, with teams of 3 to 4 Habtiators being common. Checks should be made out to the Habitat for Humanity-Uconn Chapter.
