  • Participants for Stressful Life Events Study

    Have you experienced stressful life events?  You may be eligible to participate in a research study at UConn about how different life experiences and personality characteristics affect physical health.  

    The study involves a one-time visit to our office at either UConn Storrs or UConn Hartford. The visit takes about an hour and a half, for which participants will be paid $25 in Amazon gift card or cash, their choice.  In addition, participants will receive a free blood pressure screening.  

    Participation involves:
    • Answering questionnaires
    • Taking blood pressure and heart rate measurements
    • Taking height and weight measurements
    • Completing a task

    Participation is confidential. Participants must be age 21+.
