Volunteer Opportunities

  • Leadership and service opportunity

Are you looking to become more involved on campus this semester through service, gain leadership experience, have an interest in civic engagement and improve your event planning skills?

The Political Engagement Program in Community Outreach is seeking student assistance in organizing events this semester at the Storrs campus. This would entail assisting with the planning of campus-wide events such as panels, documentary screenings, dialogues, social media promotion, and more. Students will have the freedom to contribute as much as they like and cultivate their own leadership and event planning skills through the process. This is a great opportunity for students of any major, background, experience, and commitment-level to gain experience in not only executing an event for the Husky community but giving back through service-related activities. It will also provide an opportunity to learn more about Community Outreach and student leader positions on campus.

Please contact the Political Engagement Program Director (Amy Saji) at uconn.co.politicaleg@gmail.com if interested. All students are welcome and encouraged to reach out for more information. Visit us on UConntact under Political Engagement.
