  • 11/15 "Night Fall: Community Puppetry in Hartford" Forum

The Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry is excited to welcome Anne Cubberly on November 15, for, "Night Fall: Community Puppetry in Hartford", the second installment of the 2018 Fall Puppet Forum Series! Anne Cubberly has served as the Artistic Director of "Night Fall" for the past seven years and has helped organize the performance in local Hartford parks. "Night Fall" is an annual performance that features music, dance, theater, spoken word, costumes, and Anne Cubberly's signature giant puppets. This forum will focus on the origins, aims, techniques, and aesthetics of this dynamic community performance event. The event will start at 7 p.m. Admission is free (donations greatly appreciated!), and refreshments will be served. If you are unable to attend in person, join us via Facebook Live! For more information, or if you require an accommodation to attend the forum, please contact Ballard Institute staff at 860.486.8580 or bimp@uconn.edu.
