International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) invites community members, families, faculty, staff, and students to experience Worldfest Fall 2018 on Sunday, November 11th from 1-4pm in the Ballroom of the Student Union, 2110 Hillside Road in Storrs, Connecticut. Parking is available on campus in either the North or South parking garages.
ISSS Worldfest is an annual event to celebrate and show appreciation for UConn’s international student community and inspire interest in the world. Through performance, food, and activities, UConn Worldfest promotes global engagement and learning across cultures to UConn and the greater community. This year's theme is 50 Years Throughout the World, which will be reflected in displays, decorations and various aspects of the event.
Join us for traditional and contemporary dance and musical performances by student organizations.Student organizations such as Taiko, Tarang, Illumn8 and more will be performing and dozens of Student Organizations will be hosting booths and walking in the Fashion Show. Come see all that our international and multicultural students do on campus!
There will also be crafts, kids’ activities, a fashion show, light refreshments, and food, including appetizers from around the world. This is a free event that also counts as an Honors Event!
