  • Florida Alternative Break: Migrant Farmworkers

    Interested in human rights advocacy? Maybe healthcare? Human trafficking? Disaster relief?

    If so, apply to the Migrant Farmworkers & Agricultural Communities alternative break through Community Outreach!

    This week-long alternative spring break to Immokalee, Florida focuses on the struggles of migrant farmworkers, a community vital to the success of the agricultural industry but one often forgotten about by consumers.  Participants will work with local organizations to learn more about the living and working conditions of migrant farmworkers, and support advocating for this population.  This trip includes eight pre-trip meetings and one to two post-trip meeting.
