This week-long spring break trip to Philadelphia is focused on healthcare access and education. Participants will learn about the social determinants of health by engaging in both direct & indirect service. In previous years, we’ve worked diverse age groups, from children to seniors. Previous service sites include MANNA, the Mazzoni Center, and Planned Parenthood.
The commitment is 8 mandatory pre-trip meetings, attendance for the full week of the trip (March 16th - March 24th) and 2 post-trip meetings.
The trip size is 18 participants, 2 student leaders, and 1 staff. The price is TBD, but keep in mind that USG provides funds half of the total cost if the student is eligible!
