TODAY is National Voter Registration Day, and we want Huskies to celebrate civic engagement. On Tuesday at 6:30, in conjunction with the Humanities Institute, UConnPIRG will be hosting a presentation and discussion on public discourse and the right to vote. UConnPIRG representatives will be registering students to vote, handing out swag, and providing information on how to vote on Election Day. Students will have the opportunity to learn how to engage in positive, productive discussion in what can often be a tense political climate.
