Suicide Prevention Week Keynote Speaker – Wade Davis

    9/20/18, 7:00pm, Jorgensen

UConn’s Suicide Prevention Committee, in partnership with SUBOG and Student Activities, is honored to host Wade Davis as our keynote speaker of this year’s Suicide Prevention Week.   Join us to hear more about Wade Davis’ personal journey lifting the “Mask of Masculinity,” and his reflections on the intersection of gender, race and mental health.  A former NFL player, Wade Davis is a thought leader, public speaker, and consultant on gender, race, and orientation equality.  He is the NFL’s first LGBT inclusion consultant, and consults for numerous professional sports leagues on issues at the intersection of sexism, racism, and homophobia.

This event is free and open to the public.
