  • 11/3 Facilitate a Leadership Workshop

    On Saturday, November 3rd, the Panhellenic Council will be hosting a leadership workshop for sorority women interested in holding leadership positions. The workshop will begin at 9:30am and go until 4pm. There will be a keynote speaker, break out sessions, lunch, a group lecture, break out session again, and end with leadership awards for women who have served the community previously. 

     

    We are seaking facilitators for:

    The "Leading My Peers" workshop - Conversation about effective communication skills, gaining respect from peers, transparency, making decisions on behalf of the group
     
    Leading an emerging leader workshop - where do we begin? How can I stand out among the other members? What makes an effective leader?
     
    Leading a workshop for women applying to their chapter's executive board- what impact can I make on my chapter? Understanding how values and purposeful moves play a role in effective leadership
     
    Leading a workshop for women applying to the Panhellenic (or UNITE) executive board- what does it mean to lead the community? Where is sorority life headed at UConn?
