Summer always brings construction projects and it is no different for Dining Services. Last summer we completed Phase 1 of our floor project at Union Street Market in the Student Union. This summer we will be completing the project with Phase 2.
Phase 2 will impact our servery at the Market. We have to remove all of our equipment, replace the flooring and then reinstall the equipment. We have scheduled construction so it should have a minimum impact. Our last day of service will be Friday, June 29th. We will reopen the Market on Wednesday, July 11th. Considering the 4th of July is a holiday, we will be closed for a total of six days. Knowing that staff and guests might still be on campus, we will have One Plate, Two Plates open with a broader menu, offer free coffee in the morning, and host a BBQ on July 5th. We are really sorry for the inconvenience but when considering that many take vacation surrounding the 4th we thought it would work out best for all.
