    Regie Cabico is coming to UConn! He is THE grandfather of Asian American Spoken Word Poetry, 3 time National Poetry Slam winner, the Nuyorican Poets Cafe Grand Slam Winner, 2006 Writers for Writers Award from Poets and Writers, 3 New York Innovative Theater Award Nominations, and he was named the "Lady Gaga of Poetry" by Kenyon Review!

    Come on Monday, April 23 at 7pm at Storrs Hall in room WW16. Cabico will be performing a self written piece called Hysterical Apples and Multiple Assaults. This work examines racial identity and violence as a poet in the post-2016 election and his work teaching in DC Public Schools

    The event is FREE and we can't wait to see everyone there!
