    Student Recital 

    Andrew Kohanski, saxophone, is pursuing a Performer’s Certificate at the University of Connecticut, studying saxophone with Greg Case. He has also studied saxophone and instrumental conducting at the University of Miami Frost School of Music with Dale Underwood and Dr. Robert Carnochan respectively. At UConn, Mr. Kohanski performs with the Wind Ensemble and Saxophone Quartet. He has performed with a variety of community and professional ensembles and theatre productions, including the New World Symphony, Cheshire Community Theatre, and Artful Living Theatre. Mr. Kohanski also served as the Assistant Conductor for the Windham Concert Band in the 2015 season. Notable recent performances include Bernstein's Prelude, Fugue, and Riffs with the New World Symphony in October 2016, the US Navy Band Saxophone Symposium with the Frost Saxophone Quartet in January 2017, the CBDNA National Conference with the Frost Wind Ensemble in April 2017, and numerous recording sessions with the FWE.
