We will soon be moving to a new room scheduling system EMS (Event Management System). To help with a smooth transition, here are several key dates and important items to keep in mind:
- Friday, April 20, will be the last day to submit a room request in MRM.
- From April 21 through May 7 there will be a blackout period for all new requests to allow for migration of existing reservations from MRM into EMS. During this time, new room requests cannot be submitted.
- On Tuesday, May 8, EMS will be available for new requests. The new room request form and space availability calendar will be available on the Room Scheduling web page.
- From May 8 through August 5 all new requests will be limited to 3 months in advance. For example, on May 8 new requests may only be submitted for dates through August 8, and so forth.
- On Monday, August 6, the new request limit will be extended to 6 months in advance.
