Tomorrow, Wednesday, February 14, is Ash Wednesday, the day on which Christians mark the beginning of Lent. There will be a brief service of the blessing and distribution of ashes at 11:30 a.m. in the Murray-Heilig Chapel on the Mezzanine Level of University Tower for staff in need of observing the day. Someone will be available in the chapel following the service to continue distributing ashes until 3:00 PM. In addition, ashes will be brought to the patient care areas of the hospital for patients, family, and staff who wish to receive them until 3:00 p.m.
