Be the first to take part in a new UConn Health holiday tradition - the Festival of Trees and Winter Faire, November 28 – December 1, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the University Tower. The event replaces the UConn Health Auxiliary's traditional one-day holiday bazaar with a four-day festival that showcases a display of trees and offers daily shopping opportunities and activities.
The UConn Health community is invited to participate by decorating an artificial tree that is showcased at the event. The tree can be decorated in the tradition of the season or an imaginative theme. Trees will be judged in various categories and prizes will be awarded. Best of all every beautifully decorated tree will go home with a lucky winner in the the Festival of Trees and Winter Faire drawing. Proceeds will benefit the UConn Health Patient Assistance Fund.
Another way to participate is to donate a holiday basket for a Festival of Trees and Winter Faire drawing. Choose a theme and create a basket full of goodies, treats and items related to the theme. The holiday basket drawing will be held on Friday, December 1, at 3 p.m.
Tree decorating guidelines, set-up information, and further info is available on the UConn Health Auxiliary website. Space is limited so register your tree or holiday basket today!
