SharePoint Upgrade Scheduled for Tomorrow, Friday, November 10
What is Being Done:
We are upgrading the entire UConn Health SharePoint platform.
We are moving from SharePoint Version 2010 to 2016 and onto a new hardware platform.
After the upgrade, you will notice that SharePoint sites will look different, but all existing documents, features and functions will be available. Please reference the Forms and Guides section of the IT Website for additional information about the changes.
Any of your saved SharePoint links, bookmarks and favorites will remain the same.
When is it happening:
From 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. tomorrow, SharePoint will be completely unavailable while we migrate the data.
Starting at 10 am. tomorrow, SharePoint will be available but in Read Only mode. You will be able to View documents butu will not be able to save, update, add or remove documents.
At noon on Saturday, November 11, the upgrade will be complete and SharePoint will be fully available.
What do we need you to do:
Please plan accordingly for the outage.
Once the SharePoint upgrade is complete, please contact the IT Service Desk at x4400 with any problems
