  • 9/20 5p-UConn Health Student Rally Against Budget Cuts

Today at 5:00 p.m., please join the UConn Health students of UConn School of Medicine, UConn School of Dental Medicine, and UConn Graduate School as we rally against the potentially devastating budget cuts passed by the state legislature and in support of Gov. Malloy’s promise to veto them.

During the next two years, the unprecedented budget cuts plan to reduce state support for UConn overall by over $300 million including cutting UConn Health by almost $49 million this fiscal year, and almost $75 million next year.

What: Student rally against nearly $124 million in cuts to UConn Health

When: 5 to 5:30 this afternoon

Where: Academic Entrance of UConn Health

If you are free from class or work, thanks in advance for joining us at our rally and to show your fellow support of UConn Health, our education and training, and Connecticut’s future generation of healthcare providers.
