The 2017 – 2018 Health Insurance Open Enrollment for state employees is open through Friday, June 2, 2017.
During open enrollment, you may change medical and/or dental plans, add or drop coverage for your eligible family members, or enroll yourself if you previously waived coverage. You may also enroll in the Health Enhancement Program (HEP), if you have not done so already. Changes made during open enrollment will be effective July 1, 2017.
Due to limited state resources during this period, the Office of the State Comptroller will not be scheduling agency open enrollment fairs. Information, including the Health Care Options Planner for active employees, may be found at http://www.osc.ct.gov/benefits/openenroll.htm.
Employees who wish to make changes to the benefit plans during open enrollment may contact the Employee Benefits Unit: Teri Chasse at 860-679-2791 (last names A-F) or Jennifer Hart at 860-679-3549 (last names G-Z).
In order to add an eligible dependent, proof of relationship is required (i.e. marriage license, full-length birth certificate). Completed forms with supporting documentation must be received in Human Resources (MC 4035 or fax 860-679-4660) by Friday, June 2, 2017.
No action is required for employees who do not wish to make changes.
