The Group on Women in Medicine and Science (GWIMS) is having its Annual Symposium and Recognition of Outstanding Women Faculty and Students Ceremony from 4:30 to 5:30 this afternoon in the Massey Auditorium, followed by a Reception in the Academic Lobby from 5:30 to 6:30 this evening.
The guest speaker is Jill Morris, Ph.D., Program Director at the NIH National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) of Bethesda, Md. Her seminar topic of discussion is titled: "Women in Biomedical Careers," which will then be followed by the award ceremony of the Recognition of Outstanding Women Faculty and Students. All are welcome!
