Target Audience: Faculty, staff, residents, and students interested in clinical research
Learning Objectives: Participants will be able to: a) Be able to describe the obesity epidemic and one treatment option for youth; b) Be able to report common medical and psychosocial comorbidities; c) Be able to identify ways in which pain impacts youth with a primary diagnosis of obesity, including prevalence, physical functioning, and psychosocial functioning
Accreditation: The University of Connecticut School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The University of Connecticut School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1
