The 28th in-person Annual Workshop on Computational Cell Biology will be held Monday, June 1, at the Center for Cell Analysis and Modeling, Cell and Genome Sciences Building.
This workshop is designed for biologists who are interested in incorporating modeling into their research. It is open to faculty, staff, postdocs, and students.
The introductory session will run from 9 a.m. to noon and will cover a range of modeling approaches, including deterministic, stochastic, spatial, agent-based, and rule-based modeling. Participants will also be introduced to modeling tools such as VCell, COPASI, SpringSaLaD, and BioNetGen.
Interested participants may continue in the afternoon and for two additional days, Tuesday and Wednesday, June 2-3, to work directly with CCAM modelers on developing their own modeling projects.
To register or ask questions, please email Dr. Michael Blinov at blinov@uchc.edu.
