Commencement Information for Faculty Participants
The 2026 Commencement ceremony is scheduled for Monday, May 11, at 1 p.m. at the Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts on the Storrs campus. The security team at the entrances may ask to see a UConn Health ID. Parking will be available in the North and South Garages for all attendees. All faculty members should plan to arrive for noon and report to the Jorgensen Gallery, lower level of the Jorgensen Center for robing and processional line-up. If needed, bring your own hair pins or clips to secure your cap. Please note, due to restrictions, no refreshments will be served before or after the ceremony. Marshals and hooders are asked to gather on the stage in the auditorium at 11:15 a.m. for a brief overview of the ceremony. If you have rented regalia, returns will be accepted in the UConn Bookstore near the South Garage following the ceremony.

Plan to arrive, wearing your robes, with your families at noon when the doors open. If needed bring your own hair pins or clips to secure your cap. Parking will be available in the North and South Garages for all attendees. Students should report to the lobby of the Harriet Jorgensen Theater, lower level, by using the entrance at the back of the building for check in, robing and processional line-up. Please note, due to restrictions, no refreshments will be served before or after the ceremony.
