The Office of the VP for Research (OVPR) Research IT Services will be upgrading the UConn Health InfoEd eRA portal. To ensure a smooth transition, please take note of the following service interruption and begin to plan accordingly:
Scheduled Outage Window
Starts: Monday, April 27, at 6 p.m.
Ends: Wednesday, April 29, at 6 a.m.
Systems Impacted
During this window, InfoEd will be offline. Users will be unable to access or submit:
- Sponsored program proposals
- Faculty consulting requests/reconciliations
- FCOI disclosures
- IACUC Animal Use Protocols
- CCM Animal Orders
Please Note: Linked systems (Award Management and SPS dashboards) will not update and may have limited access. OVPR staff will also be unable to process records electronically during this time.
Important Details
Before the Outage: Please log out of UConn Health InfoEd and close your browser before 6 p.m. April 27.
What’s Changing: This upgrade includes critical performance improvements and bug fixes.
Scope: This only affects the UConn Health eRA Portal. Storrs and Regional Campus InfoEd systems remain unaffected (upgrade completed January 2026).
External Submissions: Direct submissions to external sponsors are not impacted.
After the Upgrade
Normal access will resume on Wednesday, April 29. Before logging back in, you must clear your browser cache (press Ctrl + Shift + Delete) to ensure the new version loads correctly.
