    CT Tower (H) – JDH Adult Ambulatory Care Unit Infusion Center – 6th Floor

    • Project Scope: The project consists of minor renovations to create a new infusion unit.
    • Schedule: Work to begin early November, Phase 1 completion early January 2026, Phase 2 completion TBD.
    • Impacts:
      • Construction will mostly occur during normal business hours. 
      • Be aware of posted signage. Do not enter construction areas.

    Lab Building (L) – Temporary Space for Mass Spectrometer Core – Rooms L1088/1089

    • Project Scope: The project consists of minor room renovations to create a new mass spectrometer lab.
    • Schedule: Work to begin in mid-November 2025, completion endo of November 2025.
    • Impacts:
      • Construction will mostly occur during normal business hours. 
      • Be aware of posted signage. Do not enter construction areas.

    400 Farmington Avenue (R) - Cell & Genome Sciences Building – Chemical Storage Room R1361 Fume Hood & Safety Upgrades

    • Project Scope: The project consists of the replacement of the existing chemical fume hood system and general room renovations and upgrades.
    • Schedule: Work to begin in October, with completion scheduled for February 2026.
    • Impacts:
      • Construction will mostly occur during normal business hours. 
      • Be aware of posted signage. Do not enter construction areas.

    University Tower Building (T) – IT Disaster Recovery Room TSB102

    • Project Scope: The project consists of the upgrade of the fire suppression system to a waterless system more appropriate for a data room environment. This work also includes upgrades the existing HVAC system currently servicing the room.
    • Schedule: Work to begin mid-September, with completion scheduled for December 2025.
    • Impacts:
      • Construction will mostly occur during normal business hours. 
      • Be aware of posted signage. Do not enter construction areas.

    Creative Child Center Building (M) – Roof Replacement

    • Project Scope: Replace existing roof with new roof.
    • Schedule: Work to occur from September through November 2025.
    • Impacts:
      • Construction will mostly occur during normal business hours. Contractor will work some weekdays plus Saturday and/or Sunday in lieu of one or two weekdays to minimize disruption while daycare is in session. 
      • All building doors will remain available for emergency egress. Flow to the play areas will be limited to certain doors at each phase to coincide with physical safety precautions in place by phase. Be aware of posted signage.

    Transgenic Animal Facility Building (K) – Roof Replacement

    • Project Scope: Replace existing ballasted roof with new EPDM roof. Replace walkway from Parking Lot A2 to the Building E entrance.
    • Schedule: Roof replacement will be completed by end of 2025. Walkway replacement will be completed in Spring and Summer 2026.
    • Impacts:
      • Construction will mostly occur during normal business hours.
      • Certain specific tasks are scheduled on weekends in order to limit impact on building operations.
      • The Building E entrance will be closed during certain critical portions of the construction of the new walkway. Information regarding closure timeframes will be provided as soon as it is available.
      • Protective scaffolding will be in place during certain phases. Be aware of posted signage.
      • Area 1 parking capacity in Lot A2 will be temporarily reduced by approximately 20 spaces to allow for a construction mobilization area.

    University Tower Building (T) – Emergency Department Expansion - Low Acuity Suite

    • Project Scope: The project consists of the renovation of a portion of the ED waiting / admin office area to create a low acuity patient treatment suite to help alleviate overcrowding in the ED during peak times. The design consists of seven treatment bays with related support spaces including a nurse station and a new patient toilet room.
    • Schedule: Work on-going, completion Mid- November 2025.
    • Impacts:
      • Construction will mostly occur during normal business hours. 
      • Be aware of posted signage. Do not enter construction areas.

    Outpatient Pavilion (S) Building – S1868 LINAC Unit Replacement

    • Project Scope: Fit out S1868 vault for new LINAC equipment, modify control room S1866, then remove old TOMO equipment from S1865 vault once new unit is in use.
    • Schedule: Work on-going, construction completion November 2025. Equipment install and testing completion January 2026.
    • Impacts:
      • Construction will generally occur during normal business hours. Certain activities that will cause significant noise and vibration will be scheduled off hours and be coordinated with clinical staff.
      • Material deliveries and trash removal will occur off hours.
      • Be aware of posted signage and room closures. Do not enter construction areas.

    Transgenic Animal Facility (K) Basement Floor – KB Lab Renovations

    • Project Scope: Renovation of Animal Holding and Research space to create new wet lab and associated spaces
    • Schedule: Work on-going, completion Winter 2025
    • Impacts:
      • Be aware of construction activities and workers.
      • Be aware of posted signage. Do not walk through construction areas.

    Clinic (C) CG228 and Outpatient Pavillion (S) Various Floors - Ambulatory Clinics Door Security Upgrades

    • Project Scope: Install Access Controls at doors in OP from check-in to clinic spaces in various locations. Rework Doors and Hardware to accommodate. 
    • Schedule: Work on-going, completion late 2025.
    • Impacts:
      • Be aware of construction activities and workers.
      • Be aware of posted signage. Do not walk through construction areas.

    CT Tower (H) – Main Level – Interventional Radiology (IR) and Support Areas Renovation

    • Project Scope:
      • Phase 1 - Create a new IR Room, C-Arm Room, Patient Restroom, Reception/Waiting Room and partial IT Closet.
      • Phase 1A – Create a new Reading Room, full IT Closet and two permanent Patient Restrooms.
      • Phase 2 – Create a new Changing Room, Patient Restroom, Clinical Staff Space and Stretcher Holding Area.
    • Schedule: Work on-going, completion late Summer 2026.
    • Impacts:
      • Construction will occur during normal business hours. Material deliveries and trash removal will occur off hours.
      • Certain specific tasks are scheduled on weekends in order to limit impact in clinical areas.
      • Be aware of posted signage and room closures. Do not enter construction areas.

    University Tower (T) - Hybrid OR #2 – Fit-Out of Shell Space TG819

    • Project Scope: The Project consists of the renovation and fit-out of TG819 (currently shell-space). This room will house a new bi-plane imaging unit, creating a 2nd Hybrid Operating Room located adjacent to Hybrid OR #1. 
    • Schedule: Work on-going, construction completion early November 2025, equipment installation completion early December.
    • Impacts:
      • Construction will mostly occur during normal business hours. 
      • Be aware of posted signage. Do not enter construction areas.

    Outpatient Pavilion (S) Building Retro Commissioning

    • Project Scope: Measure and adjust building HVAC system components.
    • Schedule: Work on-going, completion December 2025.
    • Impacts:
      • Most work will be completed off hours.
      • Work includes checking and adjusting HVAC performance and will be minimally disruptive.
      • Be aware of construction activities and workers.

    Clinic Building (C) – Basement & CT Tower (H) Basement – Central Sterile & Endoscope Suite

    • Project Scope: Renovate existing Central Sterile and the creation of an Endoscope Suite.
    • Schedule: Phase 1 (Endoscope Suite) completed. Phase 2 work on-going, completion November 2025.
    • Impacts:
      • Construction will mostly occur during normal business hours.
      • Be aware of posted signage. Do not enter construction areas.

    Replace Main Liquid Oxygen Tanks - West Loading Dock Receiving/A4 Parking Area

    • Project Scope: Provide temporary oxygen tank on trailer until new permanent oxygen tanks are provided. Create new larger tank pad, fenced enclosure and surrounding walkways to accommodate new liquid oxygen tanks.
    • Schedule: Work to occur mid-September 2025 through December 2025.
    • Impacts:
      • Limited emergency, currier, vendor vehicle parking and maneuvering.
      • Pedestrians must stay within identified walkways.
      • Be aware of all notifications, barricades, detours, actives and stay clear of the oxygen tank trailer.
      • Area 1 parking capacity in Lot A4 will be temporarily reduced by approximately 40 spaces to allow for construction and installation of the new oxygen system.
