This session will provide an overview of the methodology used in developing the ACOEM Guidelines and examine how these evidence-based frameworks support effective disability prevention and management practices. Participants will identify key challenges in developing high-quality evidence to guide practices in this area, discuss approaches for assessing risk factors that may delay recovery or limit functional improvement, and review interventions shown to enhance outcomes in disability management.
