Effects of Task Complexity and Foreign Language Anxiety on Chinese as a Foreign Language Learners’ Speech Production
This research (IRB # H24-0393) study aims to explore how task complexity and foreign language anxiety impact Chinese foreign language learners’ speech production.
Requirements:
- Completed at least one year of Chinese study at UConn OR previous Chinese study experience
- NOT a heritage learner
What You’ll Do:
- Two speaking tasks
- An anxiety survey
- A proficiency test
Total: 30-40 minutes, one single visit
