    Effects of Task Complexity and Foreign Language Anxiety on Chinese as a Foreign Language Learners’ Speech Production

    This research (IRB # H24-0393) study aims to explore how task complexity and foreign language anxiety impact Chinese foreign language learners’ speech production. 

    Requirements:

    • Completed at least one year of Chinese study at UConn OR previous Chinese study experience
    • NOT a heritage learner

    What You’ll Do:

    1. Two speaking tasks
    2. An anxiety survey
    3. A proficiency test

    Total: 30-40 minutes, one single visit

    What You’ll Get:
